i've done the hold it in hand and smack it with screwdriver and hammer didn't work. but i'm going to do the put it in a bigger socket that'll probably work because I felt like there was to much give in my hand to knock it out. thank you guys who actually said some helpful advice. and FYI I did get a new ratchet these have a lifetime warranty on them is why I keep them...

 

If it has a life time warranty why didn't you warranty the socket with the ratchet? Or tell the service rep to get it out for you.

Lot of tools have a lifetime warranty,don't mean they're any good. Don't skimp on ratchets. Skimp on screwdrivers. Pittsburg the line harbor freight carries has a lifetime warranty but its all made in china. They're like oh it broke heres another piece of crap. We have a hundred more when they keep breaking.

 

Skimp on screwdrivers? **** that I hate cheap, crappy screwdrivers.

Paid right at 300 bucks for a 325 piece set.

Came with every socket, wrench, ratchet, extensions, adapters, breaker bars you could ever need. I've never broke a single tool and I'm rough on them.


I agree. I have a nicer set of screw drivers.

 

He obviously on a budget trying to help the guy out.
