Default 1/4 ratchet drive broke off inside of my 13mm socket

I know this isn't necessarily Jeep directly related if it helps I broke it working on my jeep. and I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to get the drive part of the ratchet out of the socket? I've tried screwdrivers to pound it out and it's not sticking out far enough to get pliers or vice grips on it!

Hold the socket in your hand, use a screwdriver in the socket (or a punch if you have one) hit the screwdriver (or punch) with a hammer. A few light taps should knock it right out.

You need a "sharp" shot. Heating the socket will help also. (expanding it). Concrete with a big whack maybe, but...here I have (besides the anvil on my big vise), here I have some old heads and blocks laying around. There also are some solid spots...near the mount on the 66 Ford bumper, also the corner where 3,-1/4 inch plates come together on my wood stove. If you warm it,, and give it a crisp, solid smack, backed up by some real metal, it should pop right out.

If you have a vise, open it so you can rest the socket on it with the drive part hanging in the opening of the vise. Then use a hammer and punch to knock it out.
