Default '01 XJ outer door guard?

Hey guys,
I'm not sure what this part is exactly called..but as you can see in the pic I attached I'm looking for the gray plastic pieces that are under Cherokee Sport. Does anyone have any idea what they're called? I've looked pretty much everywhere with no luck

Thanks

You mean the trim pieces?

I took mine off. The XJ looks better without 'em.

Yeah, do they have a specific name or just door trim?

Taking them off and junking them is very common. Not worth the time to look for and apply them. If you havee all yours and just want to "fix" the fading just mask them off and paint em

Door moulding/molding trim, sort of a generic name but that's what it is. They were originally black lol.

This is what they look like taken off and sprayed with bedliner:

And no, I'm not responsible for the lettering.

What would you suggest using? I've tried a few plastic trim re-conditioners and garbage like that and they didn't work well at all.

i used rustoleum trim and bumer paint http://www.walmart.com/ip/17130262?w...599990&veh=sem and its holding up great so far. otherwise i have previously use krylon fusion on other cars and that worked fine too.
