Hi all,

I have an 01 Cherokee which seems to have some electrical issues.

My speedo jumps up and down when in drive, accelerator or stationary, when accelerating at full throttle the jeep can cut out at random times and the speedo goes bizerk as the speedo sometimes tops out making the jeep think its doing 150.

If i turn hard left at speed or right the speedo drops to 0 and stays there until i even out.

I have replaced the speedo sensor 2 times and the TPS 2 times with no luck.

Has anyone had this issue before its driving me nuts.

 

Because it sounds like the speedometer will go nuts sometimes when you're not moving stop throwing parts ąt it and get someone to watch the speedometer while you wiggle wires/ wiring harnesses ( you can watch it yourself when wiggling stuff under the dash).
1) the hard left -right is a clue
2) wiggling is a technical term
