Default 01 Jeep Cherokee Sport Overheating

I have a 2001 Inline 6 4.0L Jeep Cherokee sport that is overheating and i can not seem to find the cause of it. I recently flushed out the whole system, and got some junk out of the heater core, a new thermostat, and a new water pump were also put in. Both fans on the jeep work. The weird part about this jeep overheating is that it only seems to do it when it is turned off, i can drive around, and idle just fine, but when i shut it off the thermostat kicks way up and coolant begins to overflow. A new radiator cap was also put on. When it does overheat you can also hear the coolant boiling or gurgling, however I do not think that it is trapped air pockets that cause this because it was bled correctly and a 1/8in. whole was drilled at the top of the new thermostat. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tyler

It also seams like i am not leaking/loosing any coolant.

Check the hoses when you shut the engine off and see if any of them collapse shut.
Also, did you get an OEM cap? It does seem like a faulty cap.

Well after talking about this with a few people yesterday and really looking into it i discovered that my Radiator is still pretty clogged up, and that when the vehicle is in motion the air cools it off, when it is idling the fans suck the heat off of it, and when i shut it off it has neither, causing it to overheat. So i just went into town to Napa and ordered a new radiator, but thanks for the help!
