01 Cruise Control
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee sport that has cruise control that no longer works, I know that I have seen other years with the vac tank in the front right bumper cap, but I wasnt sure if the 01 has it there too, in my manual it says it is an electrical system and the light doesnt come on anymore either, can anyone help me troubleshoot, could it be a fuse or relay somewhere, any help will be greatly appreciated, everything else in the vehicle works flawlessly also, thanks.

That is really a tough one. I tell you what I have started to do when I dont get any results on here. I found a shop that quotes repairs for free. I let them tell me what the problem is and quote me a price. Its always high and I tell them I will just have to live with the problem for now, then I go to pepboys and buy the part and fix it myself. Save yourself some guess work on this board. Just get a mechanic to tell you what it is and then do it yourself. I find this works best for me. I know its not the answer you wanted but you wont always get an answer at all much less the one you wanted. Good luck!

well I decided to take a look into mine after lookign through a few simular ones in the jy, and what i found was
1. my vacuum lines are 100% all working and good.
2. there is no power going to this
I think this is the cruise control servo or module or what ever you want to call it, but there is no power going to it, there is a vacuum tube that comes from the main line going to it that works, and a electrical fitting that isnt supplying any power, then there is a wire going from that to here
It is the middle chord and I believe that the bottom one is the transmision and the top is the throttle, so my question is...is there an inline fuse or a relay that has something to do with the cruise control that could be the problem? or could it be the clockspring in the steeringwheel? any help would be hugely appreciated!
