Default 00 cherokee sport IL6 high idle issue

Hi
I can't find this problem in a thread search, so don't bite my head off for asking a question
My 00 XJ with an IL6 4.0 was running really rough, died when idling, shifting hard. I replace the TPS, IAC and fully cleaned the throttle body she shines.
I let the brain reset, left everything un-hooked for an hour befor reconnecting.
Befor it started this issue, it was idling at 700 / 800 when in park or at a traffic light.
Now it is idling at 2200 at first crank and calms down to about 1900 / 2000 after a minute or so and continually idles at that rate while sitting at a stop light or motoring.
This is now the second time I've driven it since I did the work, is it going to calm down by itself or am I gonna have to replace another part?

Make sure that you didn't leave a vacuum line disconnected or one may have cracked while working on it.

I'm with RTorrez on this; you likely have a massive vacuum leak. Time to check all previous work and pay special attention to anything vacuum related.

And it looks like some of the fuses are missing.......and yes......one of them is a (dare I say) a Ford fuse........WTH! Is that ok like that or should I order new fuses along with the vaccum hose assembly

Having a ford fuse doesn't matter as long as it's the correct amp fuse. Also the missing fuses may be the accessories that you don't have on you Jeep. The cracked hose that you have can cause your high idle problem.
