TOTM (topic of the month) suggestion
I'm sure we've all seen it on pirate, but for those of you that haven't here...
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/searc...archid=9346745
WAIT... WAIT... ohhh
Ok now that your attention is back on me, lol I'd like to see something similar here on CF! They wouldn't be as hard core as doublers, & dove tails, but more on the moderate side. Things like; cool airs, bumpers, chop tops, sliders, rock lights, half doors... maybe toss some maintenance in there too!
I know pirate has already done it, & most of us have pirate in our bookmarks. This would be most beneficial to our newer members as it would keep them on a friendly site, vs being linked over to the caring generous guys on pirate! (I'm one of those gentlemen lol)
If nothing else it could give us a better way to search CF, rather than remembering the title of your old helpful thread when linking over a noob!
Let's here your thoughts, suggestions for topics, & opinions. Also not quite sure what section it would fall under, as it would be on multiple different topics?

I wouldn't mind being the one to get it started each month, but as you can see from pirate the info comes from our users...
Feedback???
Also some input from our mods would be great!

screw it, just start a topic of the month thread... but make it simple for the first one so more people could contribute
something like Unibody reinforcing, or skid plate

i think this is a good idea, i always read the pirate TOTMs and it'd be nice to help contribute to a less hardcore version of it on here.

I've got it handled, I have already set a reminder in my phone for the 1st of each month. I also think that a topic like chop tops would kick off the concept very well!
Thanks for the input keep it coming! What topics would everyone like to see?

How about what brand and weight oil to use.... wait... don't use that...
How about how high can you go.... speaking of big lifts like larger than 6" and the woes getting up that high?
Maybe something about towing and/or decked out trailers?
Just throwing some ideas out there.
