Default report a mod?

Seems like a mod around here runs around a little power hungry in my eyes. Just wondering if there is a way to make a complaint about a mod?

PM an admin. Get your story solid before you do this. Provide examples. Make it easily readable, using proper English, punctuation and paragraphs.

Ok thankyou. It just seems like around here instead of the mods helping and moving threads they just lock them amongst other issues. I realize they deal with a bunch of dumb BS but would just be nice to see them help out instead of locking it immediately

Crazy mods... Closing all these posts (20 a day reported roughly) with the single push of a button....ehy dont they spend the time selecting the thread finding the right section in a long list... Selecting it to go there... Giving a reason to the system as to.why its being moved... Gove a reason in the thread why its being moves and then move it...

Their so crazy... I guess it would just be easier for us to pay attention or see that our threads closed for.being in the wrong section... Learn what we dis wrong... And correct it ourselves... But then again we could just start a thread complaining about not being spoon fed...

Examples would help.

If you are referring to the DIY bumper thread, I can understand where your coming from. Mind you, it sort of turned into a dead thread. There is no longer a product or part for sale, and if it keeps getting bumped, you have to consider the people who are actively trying to sell something. Maybe it should be continued in Grand Cherokee tech. That is if that's the thread you are referring too.

I didnt come in to bash someone i was just curious if there was a way to report someone. I understand the DIY thread was going dead. Thats fine but why not just say something? Why be lazy and just hit lock?
Seems like someone is gonna come in and be a crybaby about when the thread isnt even about him. Im not asking to be spoon fed. Maybe he had something going? Maybe he made a mistake? Maybe hes computer illiterate? Trust me ill bash the noob just as quick fkr dumb stuff or the old timer for posting in the wrong spot. But i think itd makw the site a little better if you offered help instead of being a power hungry person and just locking peolles stuff. And tell them youll clean it up and re-open it. After the person screwed up and broke rules. And then just blow it off and never do what you told the member you would do....

You mean like when mods pick and choose when to moderate or enforce the rules based on personal feelings ...like one of the posters is a friend and the other is not thus they choose to enforce the rules in favor of their friend , and not across the board the same all the time...

In my case I've seen this ,but figure that I don't care that much ...but if they come to a trail run I may run over their jeep on trail by accident ...And not even offer to trailer it home for them...lol

My main beef is the ones who feel it necessary to point out a violation right in the thread instead of sending a polite PM. Mainly in the For Sale section. Someone puts an ad for something and doesn't put where they are located (Heaven forbid! What a nightmare!) and a mod will just put a abrupt "LOCATION MUST BE IN THE POST PER FOURM RULES!!!!!!" Ok.. Jeez calm down! It's not that big a deal. Send a PM reminding the horrible offender of this violation and I am sure it will be quickly corrected without the public embarrassment. That's just my opinion..Sir

You have an issue with a MOD then use the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the forum and you can E Mail an Admin.
A good description of the situation with time and day or however long it's been going on and if possible attach links to threads where it happened.

This I agree with. Posting in threads saying you screwed up starts beef and 99% of the time it never ends well.
