So what is up with the app search function on iPhone? Never have gotten it to work. Ever.

 

Same thing for android. Search has been messing up big time lately... Always error report ??

 

Yeah I do the error report thing whenever I try it. But I rarely try it anymore. Surely the app is a paid service, someone is not getting what they paid for.

 

I honestly don't even try to search anymore. That's sad.

 

Mods have any comment on this? Would love to see it work.

 

CF doesn't have any control over the app. It's maintained by forum runner. CF just paid to have their name and logo put on it and have it set to log into our site.

 

Yeah it's definitely not CFs fault, it's the programmers of the app, but CF is a paying customer and forum runner needs to take care of it for them.

I find it unbelievable that nobody gives a **** to fix this. I just updated the app and it still doesn't work. I guess nobody is in charge, or they just don't care. Nice.

 

Listen CF does not develope this app. This app is developed and maintained by a company called Forum Runner. CF paid them to set it up so it would log in directly to our site. So if you are still having issues you can post up at their site. We do not have control over this app and it's code.

 

wow.. then i hope the "use the search dumbass" posts goes away.. i know two people who are only able to browse though the android app, and one of them quit the site all together when he got flamed because he couldn't use the search, hell he even got a nice PM from a guy calling him a jackass n00b...

 

The fact that CF paid them means CF has control. It's simply that no one cares enough to get the issue addressed. But whatever, I enjoy the site for free so it's no skin off my ***. Just disappointing, that's all.

 

Aye, my reply button Finally works right since the update. But this is my question. If I hit the report button wouldn't that go to the forum creators and not cf?

 

As far as I know, when you hit report, it goes to the mods.

 

Updated my app and still no search function. Also when viewing pages the posts overlap and I have to refresh several times to fix it...
