It's okay... I dislike the giant ads that (literally) take up half of the page's content.

Yeah, that pretty much eliminates my need for it.

I won't be using it with huge ads.

Logged in to the new mobile theme site as a paid supporting user and the ads took up half of my phone's screen.

Not impressed...

ok i'll chime in. I use the cherokeeforum app on my phone, which is great. The only issue i ever have with it is the pictures don't always display. Big whoop, i just open the browser and look at them that way. Only now when i do it it opens the mobile template, which would be fine, except i can't skip multiple pages (ie - skip to the END of the thread).

Also, the ads really suck. I pay money not to see those, and i certainly don't want my phone to be loading them over my data plan. Is there a way to permanently disable the mobile template from coming up?

Too many ads and too large of ads. I won't be using it. However, if someone at IB would kindly fix the CF app issues, I'd be dang happy.

Logged on with ads. Ads? $20/yr to get rid of ads.

I'll stick to comp.

Not that I'm aware of. You have to opt out each time.

Thank you for the feedback, everyone. We consider the mobile template to be in the testing phase and are working to properly integrate the benefits and settings of premium members. We will also be rolling out updated pagination that should resolve any difficulties with jumping straight to the last page of a thread.

If you have any additional feedback, we would love to hear it. Thanks again!

I think the new mobile version is great! Besides those big ads, of course.

The other thing I found annoying was that when I go to Subscriptions, I have to click Threads or PM's. And avoid accidentally clicking the massive ad. I would prefer that Subscriptions jump right to subscribed threads, and a separate menu option for private messages.

I just wanted to update and saw that my suggestion was implemented. Thanks guys! Now I have another! LOL...

When you view subscribed threads on the mobile theme, and click the thread, it brings you to the first page of the thread. On the regular PC version, it takes me to the latest post. Can this be changed? Does that make sense?

We appareciate the continued feedback! We'll look into the possibility of changing those links to go straight to the latest post.

If you have any other thoughts, please let us know.

Thanks!

Trying to get a new post loaded into my build thread from my iPhone including a picture. I'm getting an error saying the Forum Runner is not responding. First time i've ever seen something like it. May be something to look into from the IT end of things.

Pretty typical error for the iPhone app, I get it every couple of weeks. Delete it and reinstall. This thread's for the mobile version of the site
