Ok, I'm fine on Mobile Browser and App, it's fullsite that is giving some issues. I don't have your email, just Robb M's, so if you could send me one at topdsm@aol.com, I can send you a brief overview. Sorry, just lost ALL my contacts earlier today when my phone finally fritzed out. Thanks.

The site has become nearly unusable for me. I'm out until it's fixed. Peace.

Pretty bad when even the mods want to leave. Just saying.

When the infinite scroll is disabled the site should look and function exactly as it always has. Shoot me an email if you are having trouble logging in or have more details: nolan.browning@internetbrands.com

That function should not be a default and a choice.

Why is it this site needs to be refreshed like 5 or 6 times before it actually loads. This is really annoying.

Out of curiousity, whats the infinite scroll even for? Was it meant for mobile users? I use a desktop, so if i want to scroll, i just use the mouse.

BTW, disabling the Infinite Scroll, as well as the Related Threads option, was like eating a Snickers.

On the desktop, infinite scroll loads the next page without the need to click through each time and most users on other sites have found it helpful. You were not able to do that on desktop in the past, aside from on the mobile theme.

We give the option to disable because some users like to have pages separated and pause at the end of each page to wait for the next page to load.

Ok, I understand some of you are getting testy/agitated but please keep calm. IB is really trying to help us fix the issues. Just present the issue/bug and they will do their best to help. Thank you.

As stated Infinite Scroll should have been left an option with a post to the user base letting them know of the new feature and letting them try it out to see if they like it or not. Not the other way around and forcing users into something they don't know about or perhaps like.

It should be this way for any new features which may disrupt the user base.

I just want to reiterate that we aren't doing things to annoy anyone. we are not autoguide, and we will not be taking on their approach. The changes like infinite scroll and even related threads have been rolled out on a couple dozen of our communities over the past year as we fine tune the details and functionality based on the feedback we get from each community. The fact is a small percentage have chosen to opt-out. Granted many of you have been here at CF for a long-time, and we understand change is difficult. We should have made it more clear to everyone how to opt-out from the get go, I apologize.

And Thank you to you and Nolan both for the support on these issues.

IB is updating the site's layout/features and some have been having some issues and glitches. Nolan, Robb and the IB Tech Dept has been working on the issues since they have been made known.
