When the infinite scroll is disabled the site should look and function exactly as it always has. Shoot me an email if you are having trouble logging in or have more details: nolan.browning@internetbrands.com

BTW, disabling the Infinite Scroll, as well as the Related Threads option, was like eating a Snickers.

On the desktop, infinite scroll loads the next page without the need to click through each time and most users on other sites have found it helpful. You were not able to do that on desktop in the past, aside from on the mobile theme.
We give the option to disable because some users like to have pages separated and pause at the end of each page to wait for the next page to load.

Ok, I understand some of you are getting testy/agitated but please keep calm. IB is really trying to help us fix the issues. Just present the issue/bug and they will do their best to help. Thank you.

It should be this way for any new features which may disrupt the user base.

I just want to reiterate that we aren't doing things to annoy anyone. we are not autoguide, and we will not be taking on their approach. The changes like infinite scroll and even related threads have been rolled out on a couple dozen of our communities over the past year as we fine tune the details and functionality based on the feedback we get from each community. The fact is a small percentage have chosen to opt-out. Granted many of you have been here at CF for a long-time, and we understand change is difficult. We should have made it more clear to everyone how to opt-out from the get go, I apologize.
