The script it's self just broke this man... After the fact. All I did was type into the form.

Hopefully someone was wise enough to copy and paste old code as a back up to put back until new code issues can be resolved? Always, always do this...

Well here is another doosey that is annoying.
In my options my "Display Posts" was set to Forum Default and in this thread https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f88/wh...191718/index3/ it would not give me pagination options.
I went into my settings and changed it to 20 posts per page and the pagination still did not show and I had no choice but to see all threads.
** EDIT **
Apparently the new stupid bar at the bottom with the quick reply options is taking over the old pagination style and is horribly stupid. This bar is dumb and annoying and needs to go away.
** EDIT 2 **
Apparently a new feature is enabled called "Infinite scroll" which is causing this behaviour and again STOP making forum defaults to **** like this without asking.
** EDIT 3 **
Apparently disabling Infinite Scroll removes the bottom bar. Yay!
Its these bugs as well as the new layout and design changes which make me not want to use the site.

I reiterate once again... It appears they are accommodating the ad platform as a priority over accommodation of the users who come keep it alive and visible.

See... This is bad news to hear and something I was concerned about from the get go about when I brought up this issue. Participation and traffic is already very minimal and now this stuff is discouraging it even more. You are not alone in your sentiments with this. Let alone that It is very counter productive. Becoming user unfriendly is never good, there is a human nature factor here.

Absolutely. The last thing you want is for it to become a chore and pain for those who so graciously donate their time and effort to come share their knowledge with visitors.

To many cooks in the kitchen ruin the stew. Heres an example.
Autoguide did this with everything they touched a couple years ago, one of which being a Mustang forum. Until they got a hold of it, it was so busy you couldnt keep up at times. Similar to whats going on here with CF, they "fixed" what wasnt broken, breaking it, and adding stuff that got in the way or simply didnt work. No testing whatsoever. Most of it still doesnt work! It was (and still is) a trainwreck! Some offered to help, and i posted screenshots for them as i have done here in my "Website Layout" thread. I got the usual of "well look into it" bs from thier "team", but nothing happened. People started leaving. In droves. Its now a ghost town.
I do NOT want that to happen to CF. Dont do this website like Autoguide did to the rest of them.

IB, we got issues on Staff end now. It's kicking a few of us off. Then when we log back on, it won't let us post. (All on desktop) I had to use the App to type this up.

@fb97xj1 We are looking into why your post cannot be edited or quoted. I believe you are copying from Word or another source and that program's quotation marks are breaking something.
To restore the site design back to the older format go to User Options here and disabled the option under "Infinite Scroll"

I dont use Word. I dont use Excel, Outlook, or anything part of Microsofts Office Suite. Never have. Strange thing about not being able to edit or quote is it is only affecting my opening post, here > https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f19/we...layout-246091/ , and here > https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f19/im...s-here-246105/ ,which was cut and pasted from the other thread. Seems to be something with that particular pos as i can edit or quote anything else. So far. I have successfully disabled the "Infinite scroll", as well as "Disable related threads". Thank you for that.

Is it still logging you all out? None of the changes we have made should cause that. Shoot me a note with details if you are able. Sorry for the problems.
