craigslist board?
I don't know if I'm going crazy but I can't find the craigslist board that was here last week where you can share posts you find on craigslist?
My profile shows I have 2 posts but when I click "view" it doesn't show anything so I'm assuming that board was deleted? If so, why???

Yep the Craigslist/Ebay area is gone and likely will not be returning. If members wish to purchase something on ebay or craigslist they can easily search those sites. It's an area the staff felt really did not belong on the site.

I felt it was a great way to share a good deal located in one area with fellow member who may be willing to travel for that deal. I think it is a loss for the site to have it removed.

We have regional forum areas as well. So if you want to share a good local deal with someone in your area feel free to post it in one of the Neighborhood sections.. I have some ideas to improve these regional areas that will also allow us to post local good deals.. Just be patient as some really good changes are coming down the pipe..

YEah no doubt the CL area was a plague that needed to go. By the time i went to a thread to see what was for sale it was usually over with or not in my area.
I think a For sale subforum in the neighborhoods will suffice when we finally go that route.
In the mean time you are welcome to post a super deal in your respective neighborhoods.

I think the staff should realize that many times members aren't posting those links just to "announce" a good deal but rather to discuss them and their details, features, etc. So its not really appropriate to put them under regional sales boards and stuff. They could go under General Discussion, etc. I guess but then those boards will just get crowded with CL and ebay threads... idk hmm.
At the very least its poor form to remove members threads. At least archive/move them instead, its better for your Google placement anyways...
Now I gotta repost my questions and links again? Sigh.

The egay/craigslist forum areas orginally was not put in place to discuss and ask questions. It was intended to post off sight links to craigslist and ebay ads to inform members of good deals..
Also the threads are not gone and I can get to them if you need a specific one. Just PM me and I will gladly assist you.
If you simply have a question about a craigslist ad don't fret I will be implementing some changes this weekend that will help with that sort of stuff. I will be adding a general cherokee chat in the General non-tech section. This will allow general discussion of cherokee's that is non-tech. So just be patient.
