It's huge!! How do I make it smaller? What is the perferred size?

You need to make it smaller within photobucket, they have a edit image feature.

Also once you copy the link in photobucket with the IMG tags you dont need to use the add an image feature that is provided through CF. Just copy and paste and you are good to go.

Default resizing

Resizing is simple and you dont need any programs except for what is on your computer

Now a standard digital camera picture is HUGE. What you do is

Open the Image with PAINT. Everyone has paint

At the top is a tab called IMAGE

Click on it for a drop down menu...

Select Stretch/Skew

Change the stretch value from 100% to 30% both vertically and horizontally

Click OK

and then click the X button at the top right corner.

A screen will automatically pop up asking you to save changes click YES

ANd there you go your picture is NOW smaller and will easily upload into photobucket. And alot FASTER

I haven't been on a windows machine in awhile but let me see if I can remember.

IIRC
Click start
Then Applications
Then Accessories
Then Paint

But I could be wrong.

Accessing PAINT

Start

All programs

Accessories

Paint


Or you can right click on the picture and select open with- If it is not listed there then select choose program. select paint

Kyle could you add this too the sticky for resizing pics
