Can't get my Cherokee forum app to notify me when I have a new message or reply. I have to manually open the app then it tells me. Any ideas ? I do have my push notifications on

You need to let everyone know if this is on an Iphone of Android phone. That way the correct folks can help with the settings. I have neither so I can't really help.

Hopefully someone who uses it can give some insight as to how that works and is setup. I'd help but I don't have an iphone and never used the app.

I don't believe the app is setup to give you a notification when you have a message like when you get a text. I've always had to open the app to see if I have new messages or thread subscription updates.

Edit: you must first go online (not the app) and go to "User CP" and click on "Edit Options" then set it for email notifications.
