exciting to me not really other than just having fun. A couple of other guys had issues, I know someone broke an axle and another had a coil rail fail. Helped a few on the trail fix rides, one busted a tie rod end and was fixing it mid way up kodiak, Originally Posted by Kyle

We did a little "trail ridding" in my buddies Red 06 Ranger Fx4. We just cruised it up Wolfs Den and near Falls Damn. It doesn't really have a lot of ground clearance for anything else.
Never heard of CNC4x4, I'll be sure to check it out though, I've been looking for a local NC group for a while now.

Good group, the website is in my signature. We did a night through wolf den and up dutch john and back out slab pile. Our group on saturday came in at slab, went around and came down kodiak, then went back through slab and around and down through falls dam. about a 5 hour run with lunch.Originally Posted by Desertfox1023

You guys had a great time then I presume and you broke nothing on your GC, is that correct. When I get up that way again I would like to make some of the easier trails. I get up that way a couple of times a year. Grandkids live in coastal N.C. and we come back through the mountains in the summer months. I will let you know when I'm headed that way maybe you can show me some of the trails.

Sweet pics.....And that's one nice "Poser Pic Rock" you found! I see your passengers get a "Holy S**T! handle" to hang on to. Mine don't...I guess nobody figured anyone would take a WJ off road in '01?
Oh well...doesn't matter to me much...I've got a steering wheel to hang on to!

yeah it is actually called poser rock, everyone tries to get up on it. Had to ease it up there, was a bit of a struggle without lockers or LSDs. The hummer had more trouble than me, it has such a long wheel base, got half way up and had two tires in the air we rocked him back and forth while they took pics. It is all good had a great time.Originally Posted by WJCraig
