Default hermit reservoir 11-9 colorado

well we left pueblo around 9 this morning, headed towards westcliffe and hermit reservoir... here are the pics i took of the nice trip up

STUCK LIKE CHUCK.... hahahaha.... this is my dad and his jeep btw

and stuck again... this is what happens when you try to off road in deep snow with street tires!!

enjoy =]

after we finished with that, we ate some pizza and headed to rosita to visit the cemetary... weird place for one, it's like in the middle of a forest, scattered everywhere, one grave was caved in and a few were still giant mounds... just super creepy... and is it just me or are cemetaries always quiet? we were right next to a road and it was dead silent. [excuse the pun]
after we left there and were driving through rosita we saw about 20 deer throughout the town, i didn't get pics of those =[ and we even saw a buck... it was awesome

That's not Hermit Lake it's Horseshoe Lake, Hermit is a about a 1 mile hike off of the trail belowHorseshoe lake. Been there a few times.

Great pics though!

bored looking through old threads, and realized i've been in westcliffe. a friend of mines grandparents live there, nice area. i was there in the summer for like a week but it looks like a fun time, it'd be fun to make it back there, but no way my jeep would make it there and back in one piece though haha.
