Wondering if any local CF members have a driveshaft for the hack n tap. I believe it's just the front that'll work. I'm running a buddy's old front DS, but his weight broke off and he welded it back on, and I'm getting vibrations that are messing with my yoke seal and causing leaking. I'm going to check JYs, but wanted to see if I could deal with a CF member.

I PMed thexjfiles asking if he still has one available. I have a question though. My current rear driveshaft is a front DS off another XJ. I'm assuming the angle will remain the same with the other driveshaft, but is this an OK angle?

 

You should take it off and measure it. When i lifted to 6.5" im using a front shaft out of a grand cherokee with a v8. Its one of the longest cv axles and im rocking an ax15 which is a shorter tranny then an auto. So i used a longer cv to compensate

Thanks, guys. Thexjfiles has an XJ front shaft that measures 30.66 collapsed. I'm debating between that and a ZJ front shaft. Know anywhere selling front ZJ shafts? I'm too busy to go to the JYs in my area. They close at like 4 and I'm working two jobs.

im not going home for the holiday ( 8 hrs away, no thanks) of course i'll make sure it's in good condition. you just make sure you don't back out after i pull out cuz the jy won't take no refund . here's what i want if it's possible for the exchange. i know you get discount at petsmart. i want the leather dog collar with spikes for my dog (49.99 collar) and a bag chicken jerky dog treat. sound fair to you?
