i know this is kinda a shot in the dark on here but if anybody has a np231 xcase that'll work for a 2005 tj with the 4.0 and a 6spd in the central new jersey area i could use one asap lol

i know i know! i'm just i'm trying to avoid that whole crowd all together lol

do u know what year transfercases will work with the 6spd? that might help to broaden my search a little bit

I really agree with wiggles.

Just cuz you'll have better luck finding Wrangler parts on a Wrangler forum.

Have you tried junk yards or ebay/craigslist?

Even though he may have better luck doesn't mean that we can't help him out is my point. Simply because the np231 is very interchangeable with the jeep vehicle line up

thanks man, the main JY closest to me doesn't have anything for that exact year i think the newest one they have out of a tj is late 90s, i can get one through the shop i work at but the company can charge a pretty penny sometimes. (haven't even gotten a price from them yet since it was the weekend)

i browsed craigslist real fast, but didnt get to crazy. figured i'd use it as an excuse to post up on here since i missed everybody lol

welp, i found one the other day (tuesday) for $250, out of a the same exact 05 tj with the nsg370 6pd, only catch is it was in a fire and most of the electric stuff on the outside is shot but i can always swap that over. i picked it up at no excuses jeeps in new egypt. pretty cool place with some sick projects going on and they had a bunch of parts for sale. thanks for your help
