Default Mopar Spare Tire Subwoofer + Infinity Amp/Wiring

I'm looking to add a Mopar spare tire subwoofer to my collection. Also interested in factory Infinity amp and associated wiring for 97+

Make me an offer. I'm willing to pay shipping. If the subwoofer is in great condition (all original, functional, no damage) I will send $150 + shipping your way.

I'm interested in any other rare/unique factory options for XJs as well. Mostly 97+ but mention what you have and maybe I'll be interested

I'm located in Buffalo, NY.

I am kinda doing to my '00 what I think you are doing to your Jeep.
Upgrading to a bunch of Factory Options it did not come with.
Just thought I would tell you something I think I know.
The wiring for the 6 speaker Infinity Sound System.
Best I can tell it is literally the wiring from the back where all those ground points are.
All the way to the front.
Would require quite the removal of interior parts to install the appropriate wiring harness.
It is not just get some harness and plug and play.
Now I could wrong about this.
But I don't think so.
I would like to do this to and that is what my research seems to indicate.

Now Infinity Tweeters themselves. Plug and play. You should have the connectors in there.
I did.

EDIT: Saw your post about the parts for the ZJ. Am curious as to what you are doing and how.
Always looking for ideas. LOL.

I have a set of the Infinity tweeters (unfortunately they're agate and not mist gray so I'll need to paint them).

My Jeep is quite a stripper... I'm planning on doing a full refresh/restore so I'm removing the entire interior anyway. To put it in perspective my windows don't even have factory tint. I have the only XJ I have ever seen in the northern U.S. without the factory rear defroster... I guess the single-switch bezel is almost as rare as the 4 switch police package bezel

I am installing power windows/doors along with dual heated/power/leather seats, overhead console, etc. I have the body harness from the '01 I snagged the heated seat harness and switches from so I'll be adding in those circuits to my '97 harness.

As far as the ZJ steering wheel goes, I found a thread mentioning that a ZJ steering wheel is a direct swap to an XJ (in terms of the splined shaft). As long as you get the correct air bag for your year it should work. Check out this thread: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/gr...l-swap-224995/ I am installing factory cruise control as well. The reason I wanted the ZJ steering wheel is that it has the extra buttons on the back for the radio control.

I'm an electrical engineer by day so I'm planning on modifying a stock RAZ radio to work with the steering wheel buttons and have bluetooth, aux, etc in a nice OEM-style head unit.

I would like to find an overland ZJ steering wheel so I can have the nice woodgrain wheel... maybe some day.

I know about the WJ swap. But not a the ZJ one. Quick Google search found threads though.

I really would love to see what you do to the radio to have the bluetooth and steering wheel controls.
I have a write up for aux. Wanted to play my iPod through the factory system. Really did not want to
pay $165 to $225 for one that was done. Got lucky with an iSimple device I found on Ebay.

You found heated seats in decent condition that work?
I found some but seats and heaters were shot.

Before that found some leather removable headrest buckets in so so shape with driver's side being power. 2 sets.
Turned a passenger bottom seat cover into a driver's side. Since I was using seat covers it would hide, for the
most part, what I did.
Then after found the heated seats with everything but only got a passenger power seat out of the deal because
as I said the seats and heaters were shot. Trying to figure out something to get around that.
Would like to get heaters in the seats utilizing the factory switch.
Something you might be able to help with cause I have some stupid ideas. Some of which might make the Jeep
burst into flames. LOL.

I did more like you are. Overhead, 4 slot bezel, Ext Idle switch,
put in factory looking foglights using a factory switch, cruise on the existing wheel
all 3 skid plates, front and rear tow hooks, factory running boards, mud flaps, etc.

Many Jeeps did not come with tinted glass. Actually it is called Tinted by Jeep but means a
UV protection of some sorts. What we would call tinted is referred to as Privacy Glass.
Mine did not come with the Privacy Glass and I swapped that in too.

1 slot bezels are not the norm. Seen a couple on Ebay or in pictures but that is it.

Somehow my little refresh of my '00 that I picked up kind of running but not really driveable 6 years ago
turned into me making a Limited/Country/Up Country/ European Orvis Clone out of my Sport

Hoping you start a build thread cause this is one I want to follow.

Rare might be to strong a word but yeah. LOL.
I would run a factory spare tire subwoofer but I don't think I could give up my
1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9 tire cover.

Will definitely post if I find anything for you.
Sometimes in my travels I will post stuff I see here:

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f9/cra...go-here-30637/

Most posts are for Jeeps though. I will post anything I see on Craigslist, Ebay, etc that I think
somebody might be interested in.
