The steering spacer goes between the steering box and the frame rail. They are aluminum and often brake upon removal.

how big of a lift can the sway bar drop be used with

 

doesn't say but it is provided with their 4.5" lift from Rusty's if you don't want disconnects and also allows you to move the sway bar back away from the springs so they don't hit
