This is my DD, so I really wanted a drop and go axle with 4.10's already installed. If I upgrade mine, (3.55 to 4.10) I'll need a carrier as well. Plus, I don't know anyone in my area that could re-gear for me. Let me talk it over with my friend Google and I'll let you know soon.

Yea, no issues with these at all (except for some scratches). I scored a set of RC leaf springs locally for $50...they actually have an arch to them (unlike my old bastard pack). The guy said he bought them for his JK and couldn't figure out how to use them??? At any rate, I was able to use my original shackles and no longer need these. I ran them for 2 years, mostly mall crawlin'. PM if you want them and I'll send you a PayPal invoice.

Thanks!!!

Hey just wondering, did you have any problems with the shackles hitting the exhaust? You have a 97-01 xj right? Under the description of the shackles, it says they may require minimal exhaust modifications.

Yes actually. When I installed them in the original location it required a slight mod of the exhaust. See pic below:

I lost most of my pictures that I had hosted on an old website. But I had one where the bottom bolt of the shackle was literally rubbing against the exhaust pipe. $10 turn down and a cutting wheel on the grinder was all it took.

Hmm. Okay thanks, would you have been okay without the shackles relocators? Or would you still have needed to mod the pipe?

I don't think I would have had to mess with it after the relocation brackets. When it drops from the stock box location, it was pretty much 90 degrees straight up and down. The relocation brackets moved the top forward and the bottom back...most likely far enough out of the way. I gained an extra half inch of lift too, so it should have cleared. Not 100% on that, but the relocation brackets were worth the $100 I paid for them!

Oh, so you changed the pipe before the relocation brackets were put on? Because my shackle angle is at 90 degrees also
