Hey Everyone,

I checked the forum rules, but did not see anything about non-cherokee related stuff. But, if this is out of line or against the rules, I apologize in advance. My hope is to find someone here to take my dog. He would be an awesome dog to wheel with and would be great in the outdoors!

Champ is a 4 year old lab mix who weighs about 70lbs. He is a very loving, loyal, and gentle guy. He loves to cuddle on the couch (or your bed) and he has no problem with you lying across him or using him as a pillow. He loves a great game of fetch, but he is the happiest when he's running. He gets a big old smile and he can run for days. He needs a home with very active people (or person). He'd be a great working dog, he's very smart. He's just a good guy. He will follow you anywhere and enjoys car rides. He gets a little nutty around small dogs with high energy levels, but he enjoys wrestling around with big dogs. He'll love an protect anybody that will do the same for him and he'll be the most loyal companion you could have.

We rescued Champ from an owner who couldn't take care of him. We've worked a lot on manners, however he could use some more help. Our energy is a bit less than Champ's, so we're looking for a new home for him. We love him a lot, but we know he'd be happier in a home with a bit more energy. We have a Rottweiler and a Papillon who he gets along with well so other dogs are not a problem. We think he would be best in a home with another large dog to wrestle with, but if you're active enough, he may be just fine as your running buddy.

He's up to date with all his shots and is currently registered in the town of Windsor.

Wow brother. If u werent so far away id take em ina heartbeat. We hadda put our lab down 4 years ago due 2 cancer 8( and he's A spittin image of ole buddy.

But wish yall the best or luck. I know someone will take em. They are one of the most faithful caring breeds ive ever had the pleasure of owning.
