Its a stock throttlebody with the taper taken out of it. That is all.
Been done for a long time.

Yes, its just a stock throttle body. (see pictures on page 2 of this thread) You must cancel out the codes of the brain though. Really as simple as touching the battery cables together. I put one on my XJ without cancelling the codes, and it idled high. As soon as I cancelled the codes, she purred like a kitten.

Ok, seriously interested. $55 includes shipping? Those things are so clean. Yours don't have that annoying whistle do they?

The one on my truck does have a whistle to it when you get on it. It could probably help you drive more efficiently if you back off on it when she whistles....yeah, thats the ticket.

Yes, basically $37 on an exchange basis if I get yours first.
$55 outright
$18 for any you can send me.

I'm gonna pick up a tb from the junkyard and send it to you when I get a chance, that way I can still drive mine in the meantime.

I kind of like the whistle... It's something other than the sound of my tires and exhaust.

Actually, I just read a post where a guy solved his whistle by taking sand paper to the sharp edges of the inside of the TB and rounding them to about 1/16" or so.

Interested! I plan to upgrade my exhaust to 2.5" with a FM Super 44 and High Flow Cat. I imagine the bored TB will compliment this right?
