They also have a MAF as well as the MAP. That being said, when MAF is read, it's only going to allow X amount of air in, no matter how big the TB is, spacers don't do ***** nor do bored TB. The ECU will have to be flashed or a TunerPack to adjust accordingly. IE; Superchips, ect.
Edit: Also, explain to me how a simple MAF sensor is going to re-shape the Cam lobes to adjust the air intake duration? Or is there a flapper valve or something hidden in each valve or something that I am unaware of? The MAF and MAP sensors just measure different aspects of the incoming air charge and help the ECU decide how much fuel to spray. When the piston pulls down and the intake valve opens, nothing is going to suddenly restrict air from going into the chamber.
