AGR Superbox 2, $200

This box has a very small amount of play, and only 2k miles on it.
Any more questions, just ask. I can provide pictures if anyone is interested.

Has it been tapped for hydro assist or just stock replacement?

It's an upgrade from stock replacement. Supposedly, the AGR boxes are remanufactured J20 boxes(bigger piston). Not tapped for hydro.

By "play" I mean there's an inch or so of dead spot when the wheel is centered. By cherokee standards, it's pretty tight. I know people with 45-90 degrees of play in theirs...

I've never seen a cherokee with zero play...It's a 4x4 not a Ferrari. Even the durango box that replaced the AGR has an inch or so of dead spot. Maybe the play is coming from my steering shaft...Who knows.

These things retail for over 400 dollars, and I'm selling this one for less than half price...If you don't like it, don't buy it. But don't pontificate about it unless you've seen it in person and can definitively say something is wrong with it. Especially if you've only got 7 posts...

Why did you replace the agr box with the durango one?

I like the single ratio steering over the variable ratio that the AGR and standard XJ boxes are...Easier to correct steering while towing, and quicker response with less movement.
