Hello again. After closer study I have found that these injectors have the exact same poundage and flow per minute rating as the more common Ford 0280155710. Aside from the fact the 710's don't use a "clip-nut" to attach them they are a better injector to use because it is a one piece plastic body instead of the plastic to metal like the ones in this Ebay ad. Plus they have a LOT wider opening at the 4-port spray end so you get a better spray pattern and the whole injector inside is a lot wider necked so it's easier to get a good cleaning of them. I have a set or two of them and could let you have a set for $40 shipped.

Does anyone know of a direct replacement injector that has maybe a 1 to 2lb higher rate in the 4 hole design?

I wouldn't worry about a pound or two since there seems to be a wide range of estimates on the poundage of any specific injector. I've seen the common "Neon" 703 injector listed everywhere from 17-23 pounds on various websites! And these aren't just guys in thier houses sitting at a computer. I'm talking about professional companies that remanufacture and sell injectors for a living.
But in general terms the blue Ford 715's and 849's are considered the next step "up" flow wise of the standard "upgrade" injectors. (i.e. above the Neon 703's and 784's)

It'll even out. Your computer is just used to trying to spray though your stock clogged injectors.

Odd. How is it running in general as far as idle, start up and throttle response? That might give me a clue. I can't say what you may have done wrong, if anything. Make sure you did'nt forget to reconnect any lines or wires you may have disconnected in the swap process.

Is there any measureable benefit to these over stock? If so do you still have a set of them for a 92 xj 784 with adapters.

The main advantages are you get a smoother idle and an increase in throttle response and acceleration due to the 4-port design. MPG can increase for someone who has dirty older injectors but if your injectors aren't overly fouled or if you have an additional problem just swapping injectors probably won't help your MPG. PM sent with PayPal info.

Default Flash ECU ??

Should the buyers of these injectors be flashing the ECU like we do when putting on a bored throttle body? That might be causing some problems .....

Elaborate. Do you mean might be causing some problems if the DO or if they DON'T? Normally I tell everyone they need to reset the computer when they swap injectors.

Yes, reset the computer... You would think people would have the sense to do that without asking.

Did you get mine sent out?

Hello. I think so . I have a hard time connecting peoples Cherokee Forum names with the e-mails that show up with the PayPal payments. If you are in Sanford, MI I got them out so you should get them Tues or Wed.
