I hope not. I just looked at my rear shackles and the angle is horrible, plus I could use a little lift in the back to even things out. I will be ordering a these once they are back in stock.

I don't think there will be a price raise, if it gets too close to the hdengineering brackets people will just buy those. Especially if they become more expensive.

Not sure if people would go with the HDoffroad one. Not only does it require welding but it you have a trailer hitch and a gas tank skid and rear bumper tie in brackets like me then good luck on getting it put on.

They don't need to be welded HD's are completely bolt on ,And the fitment issues you mention are due to HD running a plate brace to the unifrme where the hitch would mount this brace is for lateral support ...obviously RC did not feel the need to brace for lateral support ...despite there design being an almost exact knock off of HD's ?

HD requires modification of the shackle box and mounts to the outside. RC goes in the box and mounts with a different system. Hardly think they are anything alike.

If I wasn't building mine into the same location I would be using which ever was cheapest

Also HD is coming out with an improved version that should be even more user friendly.

HD's does go on the outside and the trimming is minimal ...like if you can tie your shoes you can manage it ...lol , But the mounting inside and outside the box is not a very big difference and the 2 designs look almost identical aside from that little difference ,or are you trying to tell me the 2 look completely different ?...if so you're in denial , and I have stock or dedicated intertest in neither manufacturer, I 'm just calling it like I see it ,and despite the mounting inside vs outside RC's still lacks the lateral bracing that HD's has ...Hell I don't even have leafs in the rear anymore...BOO-YA .

Yup and my XJ has four wheels and a steering wheel. My Colorado has four wheels and a steering wheel yet they are a different designs. I do agree they are similar but really how much different could they really be?
