I put mine 4" up on a-pillar

blind spots with the lights? i havent had a single issue on trail or on road with them. where did you mount them? exact eye level with the other lane?

Thank You Detour a-pilalr brackets came in Staurday installed them tonight just need to wire up my lights...

Im oredring a 2 nd set tomorrow to put down low where every one else mounts em. So ill end up with 4 total on my pillars. Decided not to do a light bar

I can absolutely see a problem with blind spots using these just looking at the pics. Especially using larger lights. It seems the trick would be to mount them really low near the mirrors to help reduce the blind spot problem. They look pretty cool from the outside with the "right" size lights on them.

If you could modify them a bit or just tile your light forward a lot they match the contour of the top of the fender very nicely on a 97-01 xj
