is that as low as they can be mounted? I'd like to run lights there but I want them a little closer to the hood. I plan on fanning them out a bit for lighting the shoulders more when fire roading.

Finally got time to put mine in!
Totally stoked, look Awsome. I'm pretty sure mine are as low as possible, maybe too low, it was kinda hard to get the bolts caught.

Through out this thread they're mounted high & low.....the bracket works most anywhere on the pillar.

me and Mr. Detour (as we will call him lol) discussed the mounting a little and I decided to go close to 5" since I already had some holes I was trying to cover up.
Choice is yours but I wouldnt go any lower than 4" it was hard enough with my snausages to get the bolts started. I measured from the bottom of the winshield frame where it meets the fender.
