Lucky.....the snorkle version is 1.375" inboard of the standard version, not much difference......

Got mine today and they look great. You say 4" up seems to be the sweet spot, but I had planned to mount them as high as I could.

Can you comment on why 4" is the sweet spot?

It's personal preference......but-

Over all, I feel they look best at 4" or less...
They're designed to fit the tapered A pillar in that general area....
Bolts supplied, their length was determined within that general area....

What would be the best size light to put on the brackets? I can get some cheap HID in a 7" or 4"
