New lights on, looking mean!

 

Anybody else trouble from this vendor? I ordered and payed for a front winch bumper on may 17th, quoted 4-6 weeks shipping time and here it is 3 months later and I still have nothing. Other than very poor communication by Chris Leonard, he has been telling me for the past 2 months that he is "working on my bumper" or that it "almost done". He told this past Sunday that the bumper was done. I've tried emailing and pm'ing since then to find out when it will ship and he has yet to respond, even though he has been logging into the forum. I understand he is a small shop and he only does this on the side but this has been the worst experience I have had with an online purchase. I've been more than patient with him and I really just want the bumper, but at this point I'd be happy with a refund and I'll take my business somewhere else. This is a warning to anybody looking to purchase from him.

 

File a chargeback with your card company, you WILL get your $ back

 

I would really like to get the bumper, but at this point it seems like a lost cause...if I don't hear from him by tomorrow I will be calling my credit card company to get my money back

 

All of the positives then one bad experience....he has proven to be reliable...hopefully he will continue to deliver quality stuff with the good service he is known for

 

I don't have much to say but I'm not here to take people money but to make a great Bumper at a cheap price, may started off really bad for me being out of work for weeks put me in over my head but everything is about back to where it needs to be. Tomorrow I do have around 6 bumpers shipping out so everyone check your emails for your tracking info and thanks for all the orders guys.

Just to update on my issue, I received the bumper yesterday and it is very nice. For the price you pay and what you get it is a very good deal. It took a little over 3 months from the day I ordered and payed to receive the bumper. Communication was very poor throughout the whole time and I didn't like being told for two months the bumper was almost done when it really wasn't. Overall I am satisfied with the bumper but the customer service I received was the biggest downfall. If I was told up front it would be a 3 month wait I would have ordered somewhere else. But it is what it is and ill say thank you Chris for offering quality bumpers for a reasonable price.

 

What is the weight of your bumpers?

 

60lbs, the time frame on bumpers is getting a lot better I've had a lot of stuff come up and could not get bumpers out like I needed to but all is better and they well be in stock With in the next month or so, plz email pic of bumper or post them if you guys can thanks for all the orders.

 

Hey Chris, you think bi-metal hole saw will cut through your bumpers? Looking to install some recessed fog lights in mine.

 

Ok thanks, have you seen any difference on how if it ways down the front at?
I'm basically looking for a lighter weight but strong bumper. Or go with a stinger on the stock bumper.
