i personaly have mixed feelings about the light bar. the trails i ride around here are tight and have tree branches that will reach out and pop out a headlight or smack the winshield piller so this may offer some protection as well as offer a place to mount lights. i like the idea that yall are thinking outside the box. -and i dont know if this is a good or bad thing but it also reminds me of wrangler and cj light bars.

-in the end yall just need to take some more pics even if they are botched up and unfinished - i have a feeling yall have already lost cutomers who have purchased full roof racks or light mounts that bolt to the A-piller.

just my 2 cents
Thank you sir for your feed back and being honest.

Roof rack goes for $550.00 and for the noise it is wind noise that over powers the sound of the shop XJ's 35's at fwy speed. It sounds like a door thats out of alinement and wind whistles through at speed. So we are working on 3rd set up and hope full we cured the noise issue.

You would have had an actual following if you posted development pics. Now one expects you to put out a perfect product one the first go. Havent you seen the teaser pics for the Vette and Mustang?

How much of the windshield does this block?
You do realize this is illegal in most states, yes?

California for example... http://dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc26708.htm

To answer your question sir this kit dose not allow it to hang below your rear view mirror. Along with the fact on the outside edges of windshield there are markings of how much room you have work with before becoming a blind spot or blocking your view. Its no lower or any more than your typical windshield sticker from company's are. Also when you turn your sun visor down vertical (straight down for those how don't know) from the bottom of that to the light bar is an inch. According to CHP as long as it dose not impede your view its not illegal. And with California having the hardest veh. codes I don't think it will be an issue in other states. I hope this answers your question
