To answer your question sir this kit dose not allow it to hang below your rear view mirror. Along with the fact on the outside edges of windshield there are markings of how much room you have work with before becoming a blind spot or blocking your view. Its no lower or any more than your typical windshield sticker from company's are. Also when you turn your sun visor down vertical (straight down for those how don't know) from the bottom of that to the light bar is an inch. According to CHP as long as it dose not impede your view its not illegal. And with California having the hardest veh. codes I don't think it will be an issue in other states. Maybe it's just me but... I can't see any of the pictures.
IMO, again, is that with the product being be so light specific you aren't going to sell many of these. Maybe I'm wrong.
Your average XJ owner owns a Cherokee because they're inexpensive. Telling them that they have to spend 125 bucks on your mount and another 700 bucks on the 1 light that fits it is out of the question.
No, if your mount fit a BUNCH of different lights, including the less expensive lights, I can see it working.
Either way.
