The Alpha Series Skid System is LIVE. We have developed 2 different versions (one for the XJ one for the MJ) so they are specific to the vehicle you will be putting them on. Since we do not have an XJ at the shop any longer (well we do but it now has a full frame) our fitment testing was prolonged by having to send one out to be fitted and then basically guesstimating on where modifications needed to be made. We are shipping our final test fitment piece out to confirm fitment so we can begin shipping these. Due to the fact that we only have 3 of these on the shelf we are advertising a 5 week lead time for shipment so we can ensure we have enough time to confirm fitment and then go full send with them on the laser / press.

These are 1/4" thick CNC Cut and Formed American Steel, They are designed to tie directly into the unibody rails. Our entry price for the first handful of kits ordered is $99.99 and you can take 15% off of this through Christmas with our holiday sale (Coupon Code: Christmas). So $85 for the skid system.

If memory serves correctly all of the production alpha crossmember that were shipped had the 2 holes pre-drilled in the back of the center section of the crossmember.

What is the price for the pre order people? I vaguely remember a few different offers promised ranging from a t shirt to a discount on the skid when it comes out. I know I would like pictures of it installed before ordering as well.

Placed my order for the Skid. $123.44 right now with shipping to my door. There's a limited time $99 price with 15% off Christmas Code. They have both the XJ and the MJ Skid.

I believe there was supposed to be a skid plate for material cost for the individuals that preordered. I can't find the post/message about it right now since it's been so long ago, but I thought that was the deal.

We will be out of the shop next week for personal reasons, but when we return Sunday it will be ***** to the walls for us. We have made small tweaks here and there after doing some testing on our shop XJ.

With this all being said..we want to offer our pre-order guys something to show our appreciation for your patience. We will be designing a t-case skid (bolt on) once we are caught up with getting the kits out.. anyone who pre-ordered the alpha kit will be offered the t-case skid at next to nothing prices.

Thanks again for your patience!

Sorry I've been vacant here a few days... had to clear up some issues with our account staying in "Vendor" status here.

First off, I will address the wheel base stretch question that came up:

We shipped a few kits out and upon user install we realized the arms may have been a bit too much of a stretch. We have handled this initially by sending shorter arms to those that have requested. For all future shipments the arms will be around an inch shorter..this will still allow you to obtain a bit of wheel base stretch..but we feel after evaluation that the first batch we sent was defiantly a bit longer than they should be.

Secondly: we have actually shipped all kits to this point raw. For a few reasons that I hope you all understand. During mockup and install..the paint gets pretty well screwed and from what we have seen by the time its ready for final install...it needs to be touched up quite a bit. Also, we previously only painted in one color (a gunmetal silver color) and there were some people with either didn't like the color, or wanted another color. With that being said we concluded that shipping kits raw will allow the user to determine their own color while also being able to paint it fresh after initial mockup.

Final few updates that I believe are most important to you folks:

Several of you will be getting shipping notifications over the next few days. Our laser work is FINALLY done and the majority of welding is done also. I can't speak enough to how much I appreciate your patience with this long process, its been a learning experience for us and we firmly believe that you all will be more than satisfied with your kits when they arrive.

Finally: T-Case Skids.. I believe these were mentioned earlier in the thread. I will go ahead and let you all know that Pre-Order customers will receive the option to purchase a bolt on T-case skid for the Alpha at essentially a material cost. We will make an announcement here as well as on our social media outlets when we are caught up with the shipment of kits so we can release the skids to you all.

Again, thank you guys so much for the support..we are finally at the point of getting these out..and I think you all will be completely happy with your purchase.

Thanks!

Dave

yup
Finally got it out of the backyard on the road after almost a year. Set caster and toe best I could and I think I did ok. Driving around hitting dips nice and hard and no bump steer and smoth as hell. 5.5 RE, RE shocks and the Alpha 3 kit. Very nice smooth ride so far! Gotta get the bugs out, break in the 4.88s and hit the trails
