242 simple shift linkage!!!
Many of you guys have already taken it upon yourselfs to upgrade your 231 Shift Linkage to our much simpler and tighter feeling setup.
http://froehlichsuspension.3dcartsto...kage_p_24.html
Now our kit is fully compatible with the 242 t case as well as added adjustability and options to work with AX15 transmissions!
The secret is the new frame side lever that is now an added option upon ordering. Just simply unscrew your center console to gain acces to the shift handle mechanism, pull a cotter pin and pull the shift handle out, remove 4 5/16" self tapping screws, and pull out the whole shifter assembly. Once out a set off needle nose pliers aids in removing the snap ring at the end of the stock shift lever pin so you can push the stock lever out of the housing. Replace this with our new bolt in lever and you are done with the hardest part. The rest is simply bolting up the rest of the linkage from under the rig and fine tuning.
This product was brought to you buy the guys at FST. We know that the 242 doesn't get much love so we wanted to help you out.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Kris Froehlich

I ordered the linkage with the lever on may 5th. Got everything on jun 7th but was unable to install because the hole on the lever is in the wrong spot. Was told a replacement was being sent out right away but still haven't received anything. Tried to cantact you guys last week with no response. What's goin on here guys? This is getting a little rediculous.

Im sorry. To be honest I completely forgot to send you the replacement lever. I recieved your email pretty late at night, responded right away and the next morning I had so many new emails I didnt get to yours to remind me.
I havent recieved any other messages from you regarding the manner, how did you contact us? I will package this up right now and put it in my car to make sure it gets to the post office tomorrow morning. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

No, I don't lick fish.
I see a picture of the linkage.... not the lever.
On your actual website, you have a listing for the linkage that this topic is about
then you have a separate listing for a "shift lever" that you sell and there's "no photo available" to show what it looks like..
