Hi Folks,
Im new here and could use some help. I have a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. My front end (Grille and around the headlights) are chrome. I want to switch to an all black front end. How expensive is it, and how hard is it to do? Really appreciate your help.

About $10.
Remove the headlight surrounds and the grill.
Scuff up the chrome with some 220 grit sandpaper.
Wipe down with some acetone.
Spray paint it what ever color you like.
Reinstall the surrounds and grill.

Only thing wrong with Frank's plan is it is hard to go back to chrome if you change your mind.

 

Why not go to a junkyard, and keep a spare? They're easy to get off and on.
