Default Very Short Term Tire Review

Hey Belto, I've driven a total of about 30 miles on them so take this for what it's worth. On the highway driving around 70 mph I could hardly tell a difference in noise level of the new Pro Comps than the street tires I was running. They didn't wonder as much as I was expecting. Time will tell how well they do. I'll give up to date reviews when issues or praise comes up.

Thanks Blue, My next project will be installing off road lights on the rack. Probably gonna drill through the roof to run the wires, should be interesting.

No lift. The tires are 30x9.50x15's. Haven't had it off road to see how bad they will rub, but it looks like it will be fine. Hopefully I'll get a Rusty's 3" lift in the future.

Thanks. I extended a small Coleman roof rack. It turned out pretty nice. I'm gonna paint the wheels black this weekend. Should be fun!!

As they break in, they will get noisier. I have a set of the 33" version, and they are almost seven years old. I don't DD mine so I don't know what the mileage is. Good luck!!

I figured they'd hum a little more when they got more miles on them. I have always had all terrains and this is my first set of mud tires. It's cool to feel the difference in how they handle. Very grippy.

I have 28x10.5x15 swampers on a 3 inch lift... the swampers RUB when doing trail rides, light offroading is ok, but when you start to articulate the suspension you will cram them, worse if you have sway bar disco's. Course we beat the crap out of our XJ's on the trail... I'd post a link to our site with pictures and videos, but it hasn't been updated and doesn't have many of the new xj shots :P
