What's up ladies and gentlemen?! Newly registered, but I've been browsing the forum for about a year. A little about me:
I'm 28 year old father of 3 beautiful daughters and a handsome youngest step son. I manage a pawn shop by day, volunteer firefighter by night. Ive been on forums for 13 years now, hence why I've just now registered to this one lol. Very fond of the search feature. I've owned 30+ cars, mostly old Hondas, rx7's, and camaros. I tend to flock to rare cars you can't find parts for like the Toyota Starlet, isuzu impulse, and a few others. Also had a few bikes separate from that number lol. I've been on a couple pit teams locally. Mostly dirt track and endurance races. This is my 2nd 4wd vehicle (first was a samurai) so I'm still pretty new to the drivetrain here.
And the jeep: Current owner of a red 97 XJ. Purchased from a "buy here, pay here" lot about a year ago on an emergency situation after my previous car pooped on me. $2500 later, I drove home in the jeep. She's currently sitting about 220k miles. Never really had any major issues. Belt, water pump, pass wheel hub was a pita to change (mmm rust). Currently it's used as my pov also, so she's decked out with lights and a siren lol.
I don't really have any plans with it since its my daily driver. I've recently been looking into about a 3-4" lift.

Thanks guys. Yeah lifts are nice. All I really want is to open some tire options and comfortably sit 31s under it. They're a lot easier to find around here than 235/xx/15.
I live in Lexington and work in Greensboro. I tried to post pics but my phone and this site aren't getting along.
