Uwharrie - 04/13 - 04/14
Went to Uwharrie National Forest in Troy, NC. Was my first trip out there and I can't wait to get back there. Did every trail except for Daniel on 31's and 4 inches or lift. Old girl beasted it.

Uwharrie
That makes me feel good about myself. I've done every trail but Daniel in my stock XJ. Was anyone out there? I've been 5 or 6 times since they opened this year and there is rarely anyone else. It's a great place to be and the 30 dollars for a year pass is totally worth it.

Yes, there was a good bit of people out there. I went with a small group of people on that Friday and it was fairly empty out there, but that Saturday, there were people everywhere. You couldn't hit a trail without having to pull over every 10 minutes lol. But it was so awesome out there. I really can't wait to get out there again. This next time, I'm going to take some more of the challenging paths. I just don't have any skids....

I hear ya man. I wish I could get out there a bunch this year, but unfortunately there's so much going on in the next 3 months plus I'm moving back to Clayton in August, so there's that lol. We'll have to plan a trip sometime next spring.

stolen camping gear REWARD OFFERED FOR INFO
I KNOW THIS IS OFF TOPIC, SORRY, but im hoping to get the word out there. I was at uwharrie sat night/sunday may 19/20. we had to set up camp off the main rd, right where it turns into gravel.
we had a brand new 6ft tall coleman green and white tent, and inside the tent was random clothes, a huge camo backpack, a sleeping bag (green), and some other gear. i am EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED to say that we were gone for less than 2 hours on sunday and came back to an empty sight. WHO STEALS TENTS AND CLOTHES?? well, there were A LOT of jeepers heading out and our sight was right on the way out
im offering up to $200 reward for ANY info that leads to the return of my items, i know its a LONG shot, but its worth a shot.
if anyone knows any local sights, or any local places i can call for reporting it please let me know, and i appreciate any and all help, please pass this info along, just imagine if it had been you and your family? to come back to an empty spot and have nothing left?
we live 5 hours east, so we took a drive to go enjoy our trip. so sad to think you cannot trust anyone these days
thank you

i was there the 13th-15th last week, and im glad to report that the trails are in great shape! even after the heavy rain the days before, the trails were dry. was able to navigate most of the trails in 2wd. ran daniel in both directions, and had a blast. running 33x1050s with a homebrew 4.5 junkyard lift on stock short arms. bring a good spotter and you can make it just about anywhere
