Leaf spring advice.
I lifted my jeep a while back with an s10 bastard pack. It rides really rough so I am looking into removing the leaf packs and made and swapping in brand new lift leaf springs with extended shackles.
The rear of my jeep sits about 8inches from the top of the wheel to the body sheet metal. I do not have flares and I did not trim the metal underneath yet either.
My jeep sits a little bit higher in the back and needs to drop down about an inch. I need somebody with 7 inches from the top of their tire to the body metal to tell me their leaf/shackle setup so I get an idea of what to buy.
The picture shows how my jeep sits right now. Thanks

I have a friend that did the S10 bastard pack swap. You gain about 3-3.5 inches of lift. So I hope that answers your question without me having to measure anything.
If for any reason it's shorter than you expect, you can always extend your shackles. Very easy.

You misunderstood. I want to get rid of the s10 leafs for brand new ones with shackles and end up with 3-3.5 inches of lift. I don't want to end up buying 3inch leafs and end up with 4 inches and not be able to add shackles.

You just have to go to a manufacturer and go buy a set now that you know how much lift you need. Now that you know a bastard pack adds about 3-3.5 inches, you can just do a little math in your head, and figure that you need whatever leaf springs will give you that with an extended shackle. Most extended shackles are 1-2 inches of lift. And some advice I can give you are that OEM Durango shackles add 1 inch of lift, so you might look for a 3 inch spring, since they will settle.

Use a Rustys 3" full leaf/coil package includes shocks and all new hardware $438 all made in NA also. I used this base kit for my 4 1/2" lift with 1 1/2" Boomerang Shackles in rear for it and ACOS for coils.
