Default Disabling the alarm???

I have a 98 Grand Cherokee that I can't get the alarm to shut off. The keys that I have are spares and I "had" one key fob. Well the key fob was the only way I had to shut the alarm off as the keys wouldn't do it. My stupid dog chewed up the key fob and now I can't get the alarm to stop. I disconnected the battery just so the alarm would stop and the battery wouldn't go died but that doesn't disable the alarm. So does anyone know how to disable it so I can at least drive it to the dealership to have them programme a new fob???

Did you try to lock and unlock the drivers door with the key.

Yes tried all the doors with both keys. Didn't work. I plan on going to the dealer first thing tomorrow and ask them about getting a new fob and programming it. Plus how to stop the alarm so I can get the jeep up there to them.

Take the chewed fob to the dealer. Maybe the codes can be salvaged.

I spoke with the dealer for the same problem. They said there is no way to disable it. You will probably have to tow it!!
