The drop is about an inch longer, which would help when lifting.

The pitman arm only drops and does not stick out any longer from my measurements. Pretty sure i need one for my new trac-bar drop bracket. I have gone to the JY many times trying to get one off a v8 zj but i am unable to get any of them off. Ive tried 4 jeeps. Broken 3 pullers from harbor freight, used a BFH and even snuck a torch in there. Still cant get any off. Might be worth buying one compared to the headache of removing one. Still i guess you have to take your old arm off.. same headache. Im thinking ill just going to remove the arm and steering box from a zj. Ive heard they bolt in just wondering if the turn ratio is the same

Harbor Freight pullers are junk! My buddies did the same thing. If you get a quality one you wont have that problem and itll come off with some elbow greese.

I used a big breaker bar and taped on the arm when it got tight, that would loosen it up until it got tight again, kept doing that until it came off,but it was a pita to get off. I did break one puller, then bought a quality puller.
I use an impact when at home, much easier.
