What rpm range do you think at 70mph with 30x950's with no lift? 98XJ 4.0

 

RPM at 70mph huh. I have no clue not brave enough to go over 50 in my POS haha.

 

I wanna say between 2500 and 3k. Why?

 

I'm right at 2000 didn't know if it was to low, just right, or high.....trying to get the most outta gas mileage.

I think mine runs 2000- 2200. Never really paid attention. don't go that fast very often. AX15, 3.55 gears, 30/9.50 tires

 

Well, if a 235 is 28-29", it should be about the same. Between 2,000-2,500 rpm.

your rpms are fine, the only way you are going to get any better is to put in a manual shifter especially a converter lockout. but even then it could be minimal.

cruising, my rpms always seem to be a little higher, but thats probably because my speed might be slightly faster

oh, thats just set to cruise. lol.

but you can run a switch you your converter lockout, and then lock it up on the interstate, then can make it run a little cooler, and get slightly better mileage.
