so im pretty sure my injectors are about to crap out on me i have a 93 with the 4.0, will injectors out of a newer cherokee work? what others will work? im lookin to go on the cheap and go to a junkyard and get some "new" ones there instead of dropping 65 bucks each

Do a search on injector upgrades. There a few options from alternate vehicles that you can pull from the jy that will provide better gas mileage. Certain years of certain vehicles have the same fuel pressure rating as a stock XJ, but have 4 holes in the tip for fuel spray were the XJ only has 1. This helps with better fuel atomization for a cleaner burn resulting in better MPG.

haha i would look in a factory service manual and look up injector replacement and see if they give you different ones for different years.
