Default E-brake

Is it just mine or does everyones do this? When I put my e-brake on i can put my jeep in nuetral and it will roll backwards like I dont have an e-brake on but if I put it in drive and try to go it doesnt move. I can push the gass pretty far down and my e-brake works fine but in reverse it doesnt lock.

The ebrake resists forward motion before it resists backwards motion, something to do with the spring layout and brake shoes.

Sounds like you need to adjust it a little tighter, how far up are you pulling it? Mine will stop the jeep from going forwards after a few clicks, but with the boat on the boat ramp I need to pull it all the way up to lock them the other direction.

Default Its the self adjusting cable in the drums.

They break a lot. NAPA has them. Not hard to do. just do one side at a time so you have a refference. I hate drums.
