So yeah, I'm definitely addicted to cherokeeforum because I'm writing this while on vacation in mexico!
Anyways on to the topic..
I'm in the middle of retrofitting a set of ebay H4 headlight housings with projectors. I got the projectors out of a daewoo leganza at the junkyard for $7! Basically, I've been following the directions on go.jeep-xj.info. I just wanted to know if anyone on here has done this before and would like to share some knowledge on retrofitting projectors. Share pictures if you have any too! I would love to see them.

Nice looking XJ you got there!
Right now I have those chrome housings. They're not actually projector headlights even though they have the fresnel lens. I didn't realize that they were fake until I started studying up on projector headlights a little more. Anyways, I have a 6000k Xentec HID Kit that I got off ebay for $35. It was a great deal considering I've been running them for almost 7 months now and I haven't had any issues at all. I drive at night and early in the morning all the time so they're on almost every time I'm out on the road lol.
I'm looking into possibly getting a second xentec kit and retrofitting some fog lights for my bumper with 3000k Yellow HIDs. I think they'd look pretty nice but I have no clue where I'd put the second set of ballasts considering my engine bay is filled with stuff lol

I like the 3000k HID because it cuts through fog like crazy. I like the functionality of it, the look is alright too, but yeah I like the white/blue light more.
