Official Introduction...finally!
Well, I finally got my Jeep....back in July. And I'm finally getting around to putting up a couple pics and to say hello to everyone here! This site has been great! I've really enjoyed looking through all the posts and look forward to joining the club!
Here's what I got:
1999 Classic 4x4 with 83,000+ miles, w/ Selec-trac. No rust, couple door dings and a LONG wish list of things I want to do. Such as lift, tires/rims, bumpers, tire carrier, etc.... I ended up getting this at a dealership, after a 6 month search. I ended up paying $5300. Maybe a little high, but they go for more around here, but I'm REALLY happy with it!
Anyways, my name is Justin from Lansing, MI. This is my third Jeep, second Cherokee. My first was a 1987 Chief...got stolen. My other Jeep was a 1997 Wrangler., which I sold when gas went through the roof. Anyways, hello everybody!!

Welcome to CF!!! Nice looking XJ you got there... I wish mine had some with the factory CD player... instead of some messed up aftermarket unit...

I'm looking at upgrading my stereo. Would you be interested in the factory headunit? Everything works on it?
Sadly, yes, I'm a Lions fan! Just not a lot to brag or cheer about, BUT, I'm excited about the draft picks and hopefully.....4 wins this year!
Thanks for the welcomes. She's very clean. Only spot of rust is on the roof! Underside was lined by the previous owner.

New JEEP owner
I just bought an 94 XJ 2 door. I am new to the Jeep world and I live in Baltimore Md.I need some info from time to time I have to fix the drivers side top door hinge to pass Md inspection. Any info on how to remove the front fender so I can re weld it? I am installing a front windshield on it too any info on how the glass fits in the rubber seal will help also . I have more CRAZY ??????SS and mods to ask about later. I bought this XJ to replace my 69 Elcamino and 91 Saab 9000turbo that I have for sale. I have 2 many cars and need a good beater rig , So that will be the Cherokee. THANKS
